ETHICAL CODE & COMPLIANCE GUIDELINES
1. Introduction
At Engage Hill s.r.o. (Ident. No.: 271 60 246, registered office at Francouzská 175/14, Vinohrady, 120 00 Praha 2, Czech Republic), we believe that professional success is inseparable from integrity, transparency, and mutual respect. This Ethical Code outlines the core principles that guide our team, our executives, and everyone representing our brands.
Our primary goal is to ensure that our tools are used to empower individuals and organizations, while actively preventing any unethical deployment of our services—particularly our core diagnostic platform, Color Response Mapping (CRM).
This document is built in accordance with Czech legal standards (including corporate compliance and whistleblower protection frameworks) to keep our operations secure, transparent, and fair.
2. Our Ethical Principles
2.1. Trust, Legality, and Accountability
We hold ourselves to high legal and moral standards. Every member of our team is expected to:
- Comply fully with applicable laws and internal company guidelines.
- Act honestly and transparently in all business interactions.
- Avoid situations that could create a conflict of interest or compromise the company’s reputation.
- Promptly voice any concerns or suspicions of unfair or unlawful behavior to a manager or our designated compliance lead.
Compliance Contact Point: > For any questions, ethical guidance, or to report a concern, you can reach out directly to MUDr. Filip Brodan at [email protected]. All internal inquiries are handled confidentially and in alignment with local whistleblower protection standards.
2.2. Zero Tolerance for Corruption & Financial Misconduct
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for bribery, corruption, and financial misconduct.
- Business Courtesies: We do not offer or accept gifts, hospitality, or favors that could improperly influence professional judgment. Token gifts of low, symbolic value are acceptable only if they are entirely customary and transparent.
- Public Officials: No gifts or benefits of any kind may be provided to public officials or politically exposed persons.
- Integrity Checks: For major transactions or partnerships, we perform basic due-diligence checks to verify the background and integrity of our partners.
2.3. Navigating Conflicts of Interest
A conflict of interest happens when personal, financial, or family relationships interfere with your professional objectivity at Engage Hill.
If you find yourself in a situation where a personal relationship (family, close friend, or an external business connection) might influence—or appear to influence—your professional decisions, you must disclose it to your manager or Filip immediately. Together, we will ensure you are recused from that specific decision or project to keep things fair.
2.4. Ethical Standards for Color Response Mapping (CRM)
As the creators and stewards of the Color Response Mapping (CRM) methodology, protecting its scientific integrity and ethical application is our highest priority. We insist on the following absolute boundaries:
- No Extremism or Coercion: CRM tools must never be licensed, sold, or utilized for extremist agendas, radical political campaigns, or coercive state or religious power structures.
- No Psychological Manipulation: CRM diagnostics must never be weaponized out of context to mislead the public, run deceptive lobbying campaigns, or manipulate social groups.
- Privacy & GDPR Compliance: Individual response data, color metrics, and personal diagnostics must always be processed under strict compliance with the GDPR. We ensure that participants' data is protected and used only on valid, transparent legal grounds.
- Respect for Human Dignity: CRM outputs must never be abused to restrict human rights, enforce hidden workplace discrimination, or facilitate negative corporate practices like mobbing or bossing. Our tools are meant for constructive growth, market insights, personal development, and coaching.
3. The Ethical Review Framework
3.1. Purpose of Project Reviews
To ensure our values keep pace with our innovation, we utilize an internal review framework. The goal is to evaluate new business lines, unique project requests, or large-scale implementations of Color Response Mapping (CRM) to confirm they align perfectly with this Ethical Code.
3.2. Agile Ethical Committee
Instead of a rigid corporate board, we maintain a flexible, internal Ethical Committee consisting of trusted internal and external advisors appointed by the General Meeting.
- Prior Consultation: Before launching a fundamentally new product application or a highly sensitive custom project, management shares the project framework with the committee.
- Collaborative Feedback: Within 3 weeks, the committee reviews the concept and provides clear feedback, ensuring the project is either approved, adjusted with safeguards, or re-evaluated if it risks contradicting our core values.
- Operational Flow: The committee meets dynamically online or in person as needed to support the company’s growth without creating unnecessary business delay or heavy red tape.
4. Keeping Our Standards Current
This Ethical Code is a reflection of who we are. As our technology and the legal landscape evolve, we will update these guidelines to keep them practical and relevant. We ensure all new team members are introduced to these principles during their onboarding, and we encourage open communication to keep these values alive in our daily work.
